Symphony Dining Room on Royal Princess

We do anytime dining when cruising, sure there can be a short wait before dinner, we usually go to vines and have a pre dinner glass of wine to take in with us. The benefit of anytime is we go when we are hungry let’s us spend more time on shore on port days. Symphony dining room is elegant and a nice place to have a great dinner, the food is exceptional with a good selection as well as a nice wine list available. The embarkation night prime rib is delicious and always my go to for the first night. My wife enjoys the ability to order two appetizers and forgo a main entree when she’s not feeling super hungry. With the great food in these main dining rooms which are included in your cruise fare the specialty dining isn’t a necessity but can be nice on busier nights in the main dining rooms (ie. Formal nights, everyone likes to get dressed up and go to their dining room instead of the buffet so the waits can be a tiny bit longer.)

Much like the other room, On this ship the menu is the same for all the dining rooms. Little variety.

Ate here most nights and enjoyed every meal. Service was not slow but not that fast either.

Service was very slow at times but staff friendly and food was good.

Overall good food but service was slow between courses. A beautiful dining room.
