Transatlantic Cruise Reviews

Starting from New York LGA airport, Cunard's Queen Mary 2 staff made sure that me and my wife did not have any problems whatsoever, from booking of this cruise to our return, including our luggage, transportation to QM2 ship. From boarding the ship, breakfast, lunch, dinner, entertainment, gambling, shopping, flexible use of our shipboard credit, till we finally docked at our final destination after 7 days of Atlantic Crossing at UK's Southampton port, we had the best time of our life and were treated royally throughout our journey. And at the end of journey, we took our prearranged transfer to London's Heathrow airport to take our BA flight back to Houston, TX and from their to San Antonio, TX, USA. We sincerely thank Our Cunard's Cruise consultant Valerie Pawlik and Mr. Erwin Ward of Cruises only in bookings, room and meals selection etc.and in making this journey as the most memorable for ever for both of us.

The best part of our cruise was meeting six fantastic people with whom we shared dinner and the Celebrity Theater every night and trivia questions during the day. The Activity Director, Alejandro, was fantastic. Compared to any other cruise I have been on the entertainment on this cruise was the best.

The ship was what I expected. Not much different than the Norwegian Epic. I love cruising so I always enjoy the cruising aspect. I think the ship is catering to a much younger crowd. The show "Rock of Ages" is definitely geared to a young audience and not recommended for children. Many of the older audience walked out during the performance. You can "walk the plank" over the ocean (I know there won't be older guest who will attempt this) and the ship touts the largest Aqua Park at sea. The ship has excellent dining options, both complimentary and cover charge. I refused to eat at Ocean Blue on the transatlantic cruise because doing seven days at sea, how fresh could the seafood really be? It's a $35.00 cover charge for this restaurant. All the restaurants on Deck 8 have both indoor and outdoor seating (The Waterfront) which will probably be very nice on the trips to Bermuda. Service was great, food was great, weather was great! Our first two cruises were on Holland. We had always heard that Holland was the best, but Princess is just as good in all respects. I really couldn't tell the difference.

We sailed from Fort Lauderdale to Rome. We made stops in Gibraltar, Cartagena, Barcelona, Marseille and Livorno. All very interesting stops. The ship itself was very comfortable. service excellence. food consistenly good in all venue and the entertainment was very good. We highly recommend this cruise

The ship was outstanding and well maintained. Our Promenade room was excellent. The entire staff is courteous and helpful. Our only complaint was the food. Certainly not up to standards. Celebrity outshines Royal Caribbean in the food department.

This transatlantic itinerary featuring a total of 10 days at sea was perfect for us. We had just completed the 2013 tax preparation season and were exhausted. The first eight days at sea of complete relaxation was just what we needed to rejuvenate of body and spirit. The Celebrity Reflection ship is beautiful, very clean and well staffed with a friendly, competent and well-trained staff. The food and variety was excellent. We have been to the ports of call many times and did not have that as our main focus. The icing on the cake was the very affordable booking price and the ample number of free drink coupons for Elite members. coupons every night

It was a good cruise but not perfect. The cabin we had 10303 was too narrow and we did not like the design - much better to have a squarer cabin with a separate self contained bathroom. The food was good but not very good. All the staff were good - you should pay them more and not make tips compulsory, to enhance their pay. There were a lot of extranious noises in the balcany cabin - even in relatively calm conditions - you should have someone investigate these on a cruise. Yes I would recommend to friends. Having Bridge(card game) lectures and playing sessions was a bonus for me.

Food was nothing special, coffee was terrible, entertainment poor,,internet service poor,, terrible noisy outside cabin 8003, noises in ceiling , walls . Library a joke, no quiet areas for sitting and reading a book Reservations for shows etc , not good Prices are very high No final statement on spend money on board
