fabulous and great locations

Ship: Seabourn Quest
Sail Date: Nov 03, 2012

Felt that the Quest was alot better than the Sojourn even though it's a sister ship. Captain makes all the difference with the feeling of the ship.

A dream come true

Ship: Celebrity Silhouette
Sail Date: Sep 29, 2012

My husband and I cruise about 2x a month. This was our first Celebrity cruise. Our experience was magnificent; service, food selection, cleanliness to mention a few. Our waiter and asst. waiter Jose Fiesta and Jose Chavez made us feel at home. They went above and beyond their call of duty. Ocean View deck food selection, you couldn't ask for more. The Lawn experience will not be forgotten. What a nice concept. Chef Joselito Reyes is a genius.

For the most part a good cruise

Ship: Brilliance of the Seas
Sail Date: Dec 19, 2011

Travelling with a 2 yo and a 4 yo meant that the kids stuff had to be good. The kids pool was pretty good and the kids slide was awesome. It was hard to get my kids off. The only slight downside was the limited times for the slide. There were also programs for her age that she seemed to enjoy. For my 2 yo there wasn't too much though. The couple of things that were scheduled didn't seem to happen until we asked a crew member about them. The only major drawback was the dining room dinners. The food was okay, but not as excellent as I've had on the other cruises I've been on. Even the formal nights didn't have anything special. But overall it was a good cruise and we enjoyed the ship.

Cruising around the world is...

Ship: Brilliance of the Seas
Sail Date: Jan 09, 2012

Cruising around the world is a fascinating way to travel, especially if you have been on one particular cruise line a number of times in other parts of the world. As an example, I have cruised the Caribbean with Royal Caribbean many times, so when I stepped aboard the Brilliance of the Seas in the exotic and far-away port of Dubai, it was like coming home to a familiar place, even though I'm in a strange culture. The highlight of this particular cruise aboard the Brilliance of the Seas was the fascinating itinerary cruising from Dubai to Fujairah, (UAE) Muscat, Oman, and finally Abu Dhabi, (UAE). We cruised through the Straight or Hormuz twice, which has been in the news because of the instability of Iran and their military and nuclear programs. This cruise was an adventure. The ship offered all the usual Royal Caribbean amenities; food and entertainment, which was very familiar, while the places we visited were mysterious and intriguing. I'm going to be very straight and honest ab...

what a nightmare

Ship: Costa Deliziosa
Sail Date: Apr 01, 2010

We Traveled during the Ash cloud, customer services were well aware that people were being told not to go to airports but were telling us to go, just to get us off the ship, 2 elderly people were told to leave, they had run out of medication and had no mobile and no where to go. After being thown off, the ship sat in port for days, they did not care about their customers. during the whole cruise i found the customer services rude and unhelpful, the food was poor.

Great Experience

Ship: Brilliance of the Seas
Sail Date: Feb 01, 2010

This was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean on the Brilliance of the Seas. It was definitely a step up from previous cruises we have taken. It was only the third cruise with the Middle East itinerary, so there are still a few kinks to be worked out. The food on board was marvelous. However, the timings were difficult to keep up with. Once you found the food, it was great. RCI offers an unlimited soft drinks package, and we definitely got our money's worth out of that. However, when we preferred cocktails, we had to flag down the servers or go to the bar ourself. I suppose they saw the refillable mug, and thought we didn't need anything else. This cruise itinerary lets people know that the Middle East does offer some interesting places to visit for reasonable prices. Dubai & Abu Dhabi are large, vibrant cities with a variety of activities to offer. Muscat & Bahrain are much smaller and more quaint. Of course, there was shopping EVERYWHERE! If I was planning it, I think ...
